Hello from the land of blue fur and cookies :0D

I only had one finish for May for OPAM :0>  Pocket Kitties.

Miss Eleven is away from home for a short while, and she asked me to make her something small that she could keep in her pocket to remind her of home.  She is homesick before she leaves and I think I miss her already too!

The Pocket Kitty was born :0>  I’ve had so many requests for them that I quickly wrote a PDF pattern.  It will be $3 and available in PDF format only.  I’ll upload it tomorrow :0D  They have a tail at the back that helps them to stand up too :0>>>  Pocket Dogs, Bears etc. will appear shortly :0> Oh, and they’re only 3″ square!

Monday Notes

Note No. One – It’s Monday again and I’m cold.  I am wearing my husband’s daggy old dressing gown over my clothes and I have a hot water bottle shoved up underneath :0D  I feel and look a little like Arthur Dent :0D  Stop laughing those of you who live in really cold places… this is the sub-tropics damn it and it’s not supposed to get under 25*C here :0>>>

Note No. Two – I’ve just splashed out and bought some fairy lights for my bedroom.  There can never be enough fairy lights in the world or this house.  I found this website and fell in love.

Note No. Three – When I woke up this morning I realised that the once pretty green paint in my bedroom has faded to “Institution Green” and looks like a depressing hospital ward.  New paint is on the agenda.  Maybe in a warmish mustardy yellow.  I can feel a new bedroom quilt coming on!

Note No. Four – On a pattern writing note, I’ve found (through feedback) that writing BIG quilt patterns that include heaps of stuff seems to confuse people and it actually puts them off.  I’ve starting breaking my patterns down into smaller components – starting with The Beary Bunch.

All patterns will still be priced fairly.

Have a happy Monday everyone…  I’m off to do the school pick-up run.  I wonder if I can get away with keeping this hot water bottle under my jumper?  I could always pretend I am pregnant!  ROFLMAO.
